• What are the shot requirements? Doggie guests are required to be up to date on shots: (Rabies, Distemper combination and Bordetella (Internasal Spray) should be given to dogs at least 10 days prior to boarding and as a yearly shot.)

• Is someone always onsite at Blaine Kennels Boarding and Trainings? Colleen and Dale ~ Owners reside in the Blaine Kennels Building. We are open to serve you from:

9 AM-6 PM Monday thru Friday
Saturday from 8 to 12:00 (Noon)
Sunday 12:00 (Noon) to 6 PM.

• What if I need to drop off my dog before business hours? Over the years we have learned that many people have emergencies that require us to take care of you at 6:00 AM, we are happy to accommodate the unexpected.

• How often is my dog outside? We take your dog out individually 3 to 4 times a day, talk to your dog by name, pet them and hug them. The duration your dog is out depends on the weather. Our goal is to play and help release their excess energy and love them up so they feel comfortable.

• What if my dog isn't eating? We keep a daily report card and if your pet needs extra care well make sure extra steps are taken to ensure they eat, we have even fried up an egg for one of our doggie guests ~ free.

• Can I bring my dogs food from home or other items like toys or a bed? You can bring what ever makes your dog happy, from dishes to treats. (Please make sure any bedding is freshly washed.)

Additional services we offer:

Extra Playtime: If you want add an extra playtime session to your dogs day. $5.50

Bath & Nails: Includes: bath, nail trimming, ears. $20 and up.

Medicine: If your pet needs to have medicine we can give it to them. 75 cents

• Special Note: Here at Blaine Kennels Boarding and Training of Minneapolis we are a little old school.  I pay my employees to play with dogs, love them up, wash them and give them whatever care they desire, not to sit up front on the computer playing games or shopping.  When you call us 763-786-3616 you get a live person to talk to from 6 AM to 6PM Mon thru FRI  Sat 6- noon and Sunday 11-6 Pm.  Sometimes it may takes us awhile to answer the phone because we are outside playing with dogs. 

Blaine Kennels Boarding and Training of Minneapolis only charge $23.00 per day. You aren't paying for the building you are paying for the excellent care of your pet.
